An important statement from the non-Persian peoples in solidarity with Al-Ahwaz on the anniversary of its occupation

On the 97th anniversary of the occupation of Ahwaz, the sons of the non-Persian peoples occupied by Iran issued an important joint statement condemning the occupation of Ahwaz.
The statement expressed their solidarity with the struggle of the Ahwazi people and their right to self-determination and independence.
“On days like these, in April 1925, the Iranian army, in coordination and cooperation with the British army, occupied Al-Ahwaz and overthrew the national government of Sheikh Khazal Al-Kaabi, the emir of the Ahwaz government,” the statement said.
He added, “After the occupation of Al-Ahwaz, the Iranian occupation authorities carried out brutal methods and suppressed the Arab nation of Al-Ahwaz, stripping it of its most basic human rights, and responded to its humanitarian and peaceful demands by shooting, repression, arrests and mass executions.”
Of course, these crimes are committed not only in occupied Ahwaz but also in other occupied territories such as southern Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Baluchistan, Turkmenistan, and Lorestan by the occupying regime of Iran. The occupying regimes that during decades of occupying the lands of non-Persian countries have left nothing but killing, looting, poverty, misery, backwardness, terrorist training, and interference in neighboring countries in their inhuman history, according to the statement
The statement concluded, ” we condemn the occupation of the land of the Arab nation Al-Ahwaz and other oppressed countries, and we support the Al-Ahwazi Arab nation and other countries under the oppression and occupation of Iran, and we demand the release of the prisoners and an end to the political executions of the sons of the oppressed countries”
