Al Kaabi reveals in interview with Step Agency the failures of the uprising to achieve its goals

The Chairman of the Executive Committee of the “Ahwaz State,” Dr. Aref al Kaabi, attributed the lack of success of the street movement against the Iranian regime to several reasons, foremost among which is that the conflict is a “wing conflict” within the Iranian regime and with the Persian opposition abroad, which is a struggle against those who rule Tehran.

Why did the uprising not achieve its goals?
Kaabi says in lengthy interview with international news agency STEP about the movements of the Ahwazi people to restore their state, and the features of the future of the uprising in the geography of the so-called Iran that there have been protests for more than 70 days inside the occupied Persian, Kurdistan and Balochistan, But these protests do not amount to a revolution for many reasons. The first is that these protests that erupted after the killing of the Kurdish girl Mahsa Amini by the Iranian militia called the “Ethics Police” without leadership, The regime seized its power and was able to withhold the protests in a very ugly way through repression, murder, arrests and threats to families. therefore, the protests did not develop into a revolution that brought down the regime, for the time being.

Al-Kaabi adds, regarding the reasons for the failure of the movement to achieve its goals of overthrowing the regime, that the factor of differences between the leaders of the non-Persian peoples and the Persian opposition had a role in preventing the protests from developing into a revolution, as the non-Persian nationalities have orientations and the Persian opposition have other orientations, and this intersection of orientations contributed to The lack of a unified leadership to lead the protests in Iran, which was the fatal point for the protests and their lack of spread in all cities of Iran. For this reason, we did not participate in the protests because we see that the current movement is a struggle between the ruling wings in Tehran and a struggle between the Persian opposition over who rules Tehran. For these reasons, it did not develop. Protests to revolution.

The lie of the outside hands
Al-Kaabi considered the propaganda of the Persian occupation that there are foreign hands, agents and spies leading the protests, which is a lie from the regime. This opportunity was fueled by the protests in order to put pressure on the other wing in power, which is the hard-line wing, but the non-Persian peoples and the Persian interior took advantage of the opportunity in order to overthrow the regime, and thus the management of the crisis came out of the hands of the “hard-liners” and the reformists, who share in the government, and a dispute began between the opposition Persian abroad and the regime, and we witnessed the slogan of overthrowing the regime.

And Al-Kaabi added in his interview with “Step” agencies, that is why the Kurds and Balochs entered the protests in the hope that there would be a unified leadership between them and the Persian opposition abroad to overthrow the regime, but a difference occurred between them and the protests became leaderless, or rather every day a leader comes out to us claiming that he is Leader of the revolution.

The protests are popular and there are no outside hands behind them. The absence of leadership is part of the movement’s failure to reach goals. Also, there is no international will to overthrow the regime. Unfortunately, countries have made do with statements of condemnation because they do not want to overthrow the Iranian regime at the present time. Rather, they use the movement in the street in order to obtain The greatest amount of gains from the regime in light of its difficult situation and its tense position in the street and at the regional and international levels, according to Al-Kaabi.
