However, the last message sent by the Saudi Foreign Minister, Adel Al-Jubeir, to Tehran during his recent visit to Iraq, sends a glimmer of hope again to revive the legitimacy of the Ahwaz state again, through which he affirmed that “If Tehran does not stop and stop tampering with the security of Arab countries, even At the end of 2017, chaos will prolong it by naturally expelling it from our Arab borders.”
In this context, the head of the Executive Committee to restore the legitimacy of the state of Al-Ahwaz, Aref Al-Kaabi, confirms in exclusive statements to “Al-Khaleej Online” that the Ahwazis are striving with all their efforts to advance the file of restoring the legitimacy of the state of Al-Ahwaz on the Arab and international arena, specifically through the League of Arab States. Stressing that his accompanying delegation faced many difficulties during the past and current year, and for many reasons; Among them is that the file of the Al-Ahwaz issue was not discussed in the Arab and Gulf countries due to accumulated circumstances, and this is confirmed from a practical and actual point of view.
Al-Kaabi believes that the issue of Al-Ahwaz is important, vital, and alive, and it is involved in many fields, especially with the Arab depth that extends to the geography of Iran, and everything related to the security dimension of the Gulf region, and this confirms its importance on one hand and its difficulty on the other, stressing that the task of the committee was difficult; This is because the project of restoring the state of Al-Ahwaz was not limited to the political aspect; Rather, it has legal and legitimate dimensions in a horizon in which Iran is moving vigorously, and this is what made the task difficult.
The Executive Committee for the Legitimization of the State of Ahwaz presented the project to restore the legitimacy of Ahwaz to its Arab and Gulf counterparts. They were informed about the project and its main topics, and many of them responded positively to the project’s mechanism, according to Al-Kaabi. He pointed out that the previous stage was difficult, and the committee was able to restore balance to the Gulf and Arab arenas. However, Al-Kaabi confirms that the road is still long in this field, but the committee is moving forward with a consensus-based approach and says that its fruits will soon come.
Regarding the existence of a serious and tangible consensual strategy by the Arab countries to activate the re-recognition of the state of Al-Ahwaz, Al-Kaabi stresses that the Arab countries do not yet have a clear strategy towards recognizing the state of Al-Ahwaz, but there is a tangible agreement to activate the file in the Gulf and Arab countries, as there will be upcoming events that will restore Drawing policies in the region, including the justice of the Ahwaz issue, stressing that “we are living the subversive role and the unparalleled Iranian plans towards the Gulf and Arab surroundings.”
