taster Khan .. The Travelers ‘ House is an archaeological site documenting the history of Ahwaz 

 

 

In the occupied Arab state of Ahvaz, there are a lot of historical sites in the world that indicate the civilization of the Ahwazi Arab people spanning thousands of years, and the site of “Tester Khan”, the House of travelers or “karwansray”, which is an important historical landmark in the city of Tester, is the most prominent tourist and historical sites in Arab Ahvaz.

The strategic location of the city of Tester in the Arab Ahwazi countries gave it an important place on the ancient world trade route, where caravans and trade trips used to take from “tester Khan” their point of departure or rest and stay.
The Travelers ‘ house was built on four floors, including the ground floor, the first, the basement (basement), the Shodan, it also contains a popular bath, and a mosque .

The first floor has 4 rooms or cells, the ground floor also has 3 rooms, and 4 rooms are nested in the basement.
Porch: the platform around the courtyard has brick decorations in the fakhramdin style, other brick designs and designs of Chinese art and wickerwork have been executed, the courtyard is built with a brick frame and half-columns, the materials of which are stone and cement mortar.

This building has beautiful architectural features , at the beginning of the entrance entrance to the Hayat is a guide entrance to enter the courtyard and the center of life, and under the corridor or vestibule there is an entrance Shabestan and shavadan.
A brick frame is used for the flooring of the courtyard, as well as semi-columns in which the material is made of stone, cement mortar and plaster.

Currently, this Khan is a permanent place for the exhibition of handicrafts and handicraft workshops are held in its various stalls, and it is considered the largest Center for handicrafts in the occupied Arab Ahwaz state.
