Al-Kaabi: we need a unified arab position to recognize the state of Ahwaz as a pillar of any negotiation with Iran
Dr. Aref Al-Kaabi, President of the Executive Committee of the State of Ahwaz, affirmed that Arab awareness, at both the popular and official levels, is witnessing a noticeable increase regarding the threats facing Arab national security, particularly those linked to Iran’s expansionist regional policies, which are causing growing concern in the region.
Al-Kaabi pointed out that this concern is based on ongoing historical realities, including the occupation of the State of Ahwaz since 1925, in addition to the continued occupation of the three Emirati islands since 1971, namely Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa, amid continuing regional tensions associated with these issues.
He explained that confronting these challenges requires the adoption of a unified Arab position, both officially and popularly, based on pushing toward recognition of the Arab State of Ahwaz, considering that this represents a fundamental pillar for any future negotiations with Iran.
