Al-Ahwaz welcomes the british move to designate the revolutionary guard as a terrorist organization

The Executive State of the State of Arab Ahwaz welcomed the British government’s move to designate the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia as a terrorist organization, emphasizing that this measure is long overdue in light of the destructive role this organization plays in undermining regional and international security, in addition to its documented crimes against humanity in occupied Ahwaz.

Dr. Aref Al-Kaabi, President of the Executive of the State of Arab Ahwaz, praised this British step, describing it as “an obvious and natural measure” in view of the black record of the militia and its affiliates, foremost among them the “Quds Force,” in spreading extremism and unrest in Arab and Western countries.

Al-Kaabi explained that the Revolutionary Guard has, since its establishment in 1982, worked to export extremist ideology and recruit armed militias to impose the doctrine of the “Supreme Jurist” with its sectarian agenda.

He pointed out that the Persian expansionist plan has become evident through the conflicts witnessed in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and Lebanon, in addition to the ongoing threats to the security of the Arab Gulf states and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

Al-Kaabi also expressed his gratitude to the British House of Lords, especially Lord Owns, for their efforts in raising this sensitive issue.

The President of the Executive Committee of Ahwaz concluded his statement by calling on the international community, particularly the influential powers in the Security Council, the United Nations, and the League of Arab States, to adopt a firm decision to designate the Revolutionary Guard and the Iranian regime as terrorist organizations and hold them legally accountable for the crimes committed against the Ahwazi people and Arab and Western peoples, in order to stop the bloodshed and put an end to this project that threatens international peace and security.
