Persian occupation inaugurates new nuclear plant in occupied Arab state of Ahwaz

Persian media announced on Saturday the inauguration of a new nuclear power plant in the occupied Arab state of Ahwaz.
It came amid rising tensions with Washington over sweeping sanctions imposed following former President Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the nuclear deal.

It also coincided with the outbreak of protests throughout the country of occupation following the death of a young woman, Mahsa Amini, in police custody, who poses a challenge to the regime.

Iranian television said that the construction of the new Karun nuclear plant has a capacity of 300 megawatts. It is scheduled to take eight years to build and will cost about two billion dollars. It will be built in oil-rich Ahwaz near its western border with Iraq.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, who first revealed plans to build the plant at Karoon last April.

The Persian occupation has been exploiting the lands of the Arab state of Al-Ahwaz since its occupation to implement its nuclear plans, and the Persian occupation authorities always expose the life of Al-Ahwaz to nuclear danger or neglect. Khamenei and Rouhani spend millions of dollars in funds to support terrorism and destabilize Arab countries.
