Tehran, the Sponsor of Terrorism in the Region: A Syrian Delegation Salutes the Struggle of the Ahwazi People Against Iranian Occupation

During its Participation in the "Executive of the State of Ahwaz" Forum in Brussels

A Syrian delegation, representing the Syrian people and led by Dr. Adeb Mutawe, President of the Syrian Democratic Conference (Brussels Declaration), participated in the International Forum on Security and Peace in the Middle East, organized by the Executive of the State of Arab Ahwaz at the International Conference Hall in Brussels.

In its address, the Syrian delegation discussed the challenges facing Syria, the role of the Iranian regime in supporting terrorism, and the escalation of tensions in the region. It also expressed support for the struggle of the Ahwazi Arab people against Iranian occupation.

The Syrian delegation confirmed that Iran’s support for terrorist groups in Syria has contributed to worsening the humanitarian crisis.

The delegation explained that the Iranian regime plays a significant role in supporting terrorism and conflicts in the region, keeping Arab countries in a state of continuous conflict, in line with the Persian plan to occupy Arab nations.

The delegation also highlighted Iran’s role and its interventions in suppressing the Syrian revolution through its proxy militias in the region, particularly Hezbollah’s terrorist militia, as well as sectarian militias from Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and others, all of which are involved in widespread human rights violations.

It further explained that a large part of Syrian territory is now occupied by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and its allied militias.

The Syrian delegation called on the international community to take concrete steps to stop Iranian interference in Syria and to support efforts aimed at achieving peace in the country. They emphasized the importance of imposing international sanctions on Tehran to stop its support for terrorist groups in Syria and the region.

The delegation also called for support for the moderate Syrian opposition to achieve a peaceful political solution.

In conclusion, the delegation reaffirmed its support for the struggle of the Ahwazi Arab people against Iranian occupation, stressing that the Ahwazi people face the most brutal racist occupation in history. They called on Arab nations and governments to support the struggle of the Ahwazi people and their leadership, the “Executive of the State of Arab Ahwaz,” in order to secure their rights.

The participation of the Syrian opposition delegation in the International Forum on Security and Peace in the Middle East is a crucial step in amplifying the voice of the Syrian people to the international community and strengthening their struggle for freedom and democracy.
