Political movements to legitimize the state of Ahwaz… Will they be implemented?(2)
With the increasing international pressure on Iran to change its policies towards the countries of the region, recent political positions and movements have emerged from the Ahwazi people to legitimize the state of Ahwaz on both the Arab and Gulf levels, especially on the table of the Arab League.
Sheikh Ali Jabbar, the last descendant of Sheikh Khaz’al, former ruler of Ahwaz, emphasized in a statement to “Al-Khaleej Online” the importance of legitimizing the issue of Ahwaz within a legal framework. This, in itself, would be a historic achievement that would drastically change the course of events, connecting the Arab nation with Ahwaz through geographical borders separated from Iran. Such a development would completely distance Iran from the Arab-Gulf extension and end its presence along the maritime coasts adjacent to Ahwaz.
Jaber believes that the reality of Tehran has been revealed in its absolute clear form that has no room for doubt, which indicates that it is a greedy, rebellious entity rooted in hatred and exclusion of the Arabs and exporting death and destruction to them.
He emphasized that the follower of history believes that the Arab nation has not been spared from its plans and machinations, as it increased after the advent of the Khomeinist revolution with an unjust racist character that increased the pace of authoritarianism and illegitimate ambitions, the fragmentation of Islamic unity, direct interference in the affairs of states, and the export of the ominous revolution that left wars and destruction in the region. And the evidence for this is many; Iran fought Iraq and wanted to occupy it militarily, just as it occupied Al-Ahwaz in 1925, but it failed to occupy it militarily, only to occupy it politically, socially and economically after 2003.
Jabar concludes by emphasizing that “the reality of Iran has become clear in terms of reason and logic, and we say the truth that the Arab nation will not be secure until Ahwaz is liberated from Iran,” calling on the Arab Gulf brothers, the Arab League, and Islamic world countries to support the project to restore the legitimacy of the state of Ahwaz. This is a project to free the region from the evil of Iran and its whimsical plans in the area.
