
In a Historic Sovereign Step: Announcement of the Emergence of the “Constitution of the Occupied State of Ahwaz” to Establish a National and Constitutional Reference
The “Executive Committee of the Arab State of Ahwaz” announced, in a statement it described as historic, the emergence of the Constitution of the Occupied State of Ahwaz, affirming that this step embodies the inalienable right of the Arab Ahwazi people and represents a sovereign act that paves the way for a new phase of national struggle.
A Constitution Written with the Blood of Martyrs
The statement emphasized that this constitution was not drafted behind closed doors, but rather derives its legitimacy from the sacrifices of successive generations from the blood of the martyrs, the steadfastness of prisoners, and the resilience of the mothers who carried the banner of Arab Ahwaz and rejected all policies of erasure and uprooting.
Foundational Principles of the Future Ahwazi State
The announcement indicated that the emergence of the constitution marks the birth of a national reference upon which a future state will be built, based on several fundamental pillars, including:
– Popular sovereignty, justice, and equal citizenship.
– Respect for human rights and separation of powers.
– Preservation of the Arab identity of Ahwaz within a free and democratic state.
A Message to the International Community
