Al-Kaabi praises syrian minister of culture’s stance after withdrawing from Iranian official’s speech in indonesia

Dr. Arif Al-Kaabi, head of the Executive Committee of the Arab State of Al-Ahwaz, praised the position of Syrian Minister of Culture, Mohammed Al-Saleh, during his participation in the Culture Summit on the island of Bali, Indonesia.

In a post on his Facebook account, Al-Kaabi explained that the Syrian Minister of Culture left the hall while the Iranian Minister of Culture was delivering his speech an act he considered a clear rejection of Tehran’s policies and interference.

Al-Kaabi commented: “A thousand greetings to the Syrian Minister of Culture for his courageous stance,” stressing that this step carries deep significance in light of the destruction Iran has caused in the region.

The head of the Executive Committee of Al-Ahwaz pointed out that Iran has not only pursued colonial policies against the Ahwazi people, who have suffered under Iran for more than 100 years, but has also continued its persistent attempts to impose its influence on Syria through political, military, and cultural interventions.

Al-Kaabi affirmed that Iran’s practices, whether in Syria or in Al-Ahwaz, aim only to destroy national identity and control political and cultural decision-making, emphasizing the need to confront these policies that contradict the will of peoples for freedom and independence.

He added that this Syrian stance serves as a strong message that Arab nations reject Tehran’s attempts to infiltrate and impose hegemony in the region, whether through cultural discourse or political and military influence.
