Iranian intelligence threatens ahwazi citizens with arrest on the anniversary of Al-Ahwaz occupation
Local sources have revealed that Iranian occupation intelligence has summoned around ten Ahwazi citizens in the city of Al-Falahiyah to its headquarters, issuing threats of arrest should any Ahwazi activity take place on the centennial anniversary of the occupation of Al-Ahwaz.
According to these reports, Iranian occupation intelligence forces ordered the summoned citizens not to participate in any gatherings or protests and forced them to sign pledges committing to this restriction.
Additionally, Iranian occupation intelligence instructed Ahwazi citizens not to publish any posts on social media that encourage people to gather or protest, particularly in response to issues such as rising gasoline or food prices, or any other matter that might provoke public anger.
The summoning of these citizens comes at a time when the Iranian occupation intelligence administration and the Intelligence Organization of the IRGC terrorist militia have launched a large-scale campaign of arrests against Ahwazis since December last year.
These arrests have primarily targeted writers, poets, cultural and civil activists, as well as citizens based on their religious beliefs.
