Report Reveals Worsening School Dropout Problem in Ahwaz

An official report has revealed that 83,000 students in Ahwaz have not completed their education, highlighting a significant issue in the region’s educational system.

Ali Reza Bafi, Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Crime Prevention at the Ministry of Justice in Ahwaz, announced that 83,000 students had dropped out of school, a figure experts consider a social threat that could lead to negative consequences for society.

Bafi explained that these individuals face social harm that may have long-term implications for the future.

He also pointed out that the statistics presented are based on preliminary estimates, and the Ahwaz Department of Education is expected to make greater efforts to identify this segment of society and reintegrate them into the educational system.

Additionally, Bafi noted that many of the children who do not attend school often come from broken families, such as children of divorced parents or those facing special family circumstances. This further complicates the issue and calls for comprehensive social and educational solutions.
