Iran executes Ahwazi citizen
Iranian authorities have carried out the execution of Bahram Seyed Naseri, a 46-year-old man from the city of Bandar Gambron in southern Ahwaz, at Yazd Central Prison. This act comes as part of the ongoing and severe human rights violations against the Ahwazi people.
Bahram Seyed Naseri was arrested four years ago on charges of drug trafficking.
Iran’s judicial authorities sentenced him to death an action viewed as part of a systematic policy of repression targeting the Ahwazi population.
Iran continues to impose harsh measures and widespread abuses against the Ahwazi people, including arbitrary arrests, unfair trials, and the use of the death penalty as a tool of intimidation and oppression.
These practices have deepened the suffering of the local population and drawn widespread condemnation from international human rights organizations.
