European lawmakers praise the ahwazi vision and commend Al-Kaabi’s responsible discourse
The conference hosted by the European Parliament in Brussels on Thursday, July 3, received a warm welcome from European lawmakers and civil society representatives. They expressed their admiration for the political vision presented by the delegation of the Executive Committee of the State of Ahwaz, led by Dr. Aref Al-Kaabi.
European participants praised Al-Kaabi’s speech for its realism and commitment to regional stability, affirming that the Ahwazi perspective represents a responsible voice amid the contrasting and turbulent political discourses surrounding Iran’s future.
Several lawmakers described the Ahwazi address as balanced, noting that it avoided calls for revenge or exclusion.
Instead, it advocated for the recognition of the rights of non-Persian peoples and the guarantee of pluralism in any post-Tehran regime.
Lawmakers from across the political spectrum also called on other Iranian opposition forces including monarchists, the Mujahedin-e-Khalq, Baloch, Kurds, and Azerbaijanis to follow the Ahwazi example in taking responsibility and proposing a rational vision that respects both regional security and the rights of all peoples.
