Daher Youssef Al-Shammari Appointed Media Advisor to the Executive Committee of the State of Ahwaz 

The Executive Committee of the Arab State of Ahwaz has announced the appointment of the Ahwazi writer and activist, Daher Youssef Al-Shammari, as its Media Advisor.

This appointment comes as part of the Executive Committee’s efforts to complete its organizational structure and strengthen its media capabilities.

Daher Youssef Al-Shammari is one of the most prominent Ahwazi activists who has dedicated his life to defending the Ahwaz cause, using journalism as a tool to convey the suffering of his people and amplify their voice to the world.

Born in Al-Qasba, Ahwaz, in 1962, Al-Shammari escaped execution by the Iranian regime in 1978, when his father managed to smuggle him to Kuwait.

He received his education in the occupied schools of Ahwaz and later continued his studies in Kuwait. In 1984, he began his journalism career, writing for several prestigious newspapers in Kuwait, the Gulf region, and the Arab world.
