Arrest of Citizens in Al-Hamidiya on False Charges
The Public Prosecutor of Al-Hamidiya, Reza Ali Hasb, announced the arrest of individuals accused of assaulting officers from the Natural Resources Protection Unit in the city.
Hasb claimed that the officers were attacked during an operation to reclaim 10 hectares of national land in Al-Hamidiya. The accused were sent to prison following the filing of a criminal case.
He added that the Natural Resources Protection Unit is considered part of the judicial system and plays a leading role in combating land encroachment and protecting public assets.
The Iranian occupation authorities alleged that the citizens assaulted security forces during the confiscation of their lands.
Ali Hasb noted that there is good cooperation between the judiciary and the Natural Resources Department in the city to protect public land rights. He emphasized that the judiciary, with seriousness and determination and within the framework of the law, supports the efforts of the Natural Resources Protection Unit and the environment.
