Arrest of Ahwazi Youths Mohammad Hamed and Ali Reza

The Ahwaz Human Rights Center has issued a statement expressing its deep concern over the ongoing repression and arbitrary arrests carried out by the Iranian occupation authorities against the people of occupied Ahwaz.

This statement comes amid a rising wave of human rights violations targeting the civil and political rights of Ahwazis. Recently, two young Ahwazi men, Mohammad Hamed bin Mahmoud and Ali Reza Hamed bin Hussein, both 22 years old, were arrested in Khalafawiyeh without any legal justification.

These arrests constitute a clear violation of fundamental human rights principles and international treaties that guarantee individual freedom and protection from arbitrary detention.

The Iranian regime’s oppressive policies, including arrests and intimidation, represent a deliberate attempt to silence the voice of the Ahwazi people and prevent them from demanding their legitimate rights.
