Al-Kaabi: Iran’s Sending of Weapons to Russia Poses a Threat to Europe’s Stability and Peace

Dr. Aref Al-Kaabi, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Arab State of Ahwaz, issued an urgent statement warning of the serious repercussions of Iran sending advanced weapons to Russia in support of its war against Ukraine. Al-Kaabi stressed that this move represents a direct threat to international security and peace, particularly in Europe.

Al-Kaabi emphasized that Iran’s provision of advanced weapons to Russia, including ballistic missiles and drones, aims to achieve several malicious goals. Chief among them is Iran’s attempt to expand its influence in the region and increase its ability to impact international decisions.

Iran also aims to destabilize security and stability in Europe and prolong international conflicts. Additionally, Iran seeks to retaliate against the economic sanctions imposed on it by the West by supporting regimes hostile to the West.

Al-Kaabi pointed out that this aggressive behavior by Iran is not new, as Tehran has previously supported many armed and terrorist groups in the region, leading to instability and exacerbating humanitarian crises.

In this context, Dr. Al-Kaabi called on the international community to take firm actions to stop Iran’s support for Russia. Among these measures, he suggested that the international community should impose comprehensive economic sanctions on the Iranian regime, targeting all vital sectors of the Iranian economy.

He also urged Western countries to enhance security and intelligence cooperation to confront Iranian threats and to exchange intelligence information about Iran’s destabilizing activities.

Al-Kaabi stressed that leniency with Iran and ignoring its aggressive actions will lead to severe consequences for international security and peace. He called on the international community to assume its historical responsibilities in facing this growing threat.
