Ahwaz in the “Arab-Iranian “conflict
The conflict of the Arabs was not limited only to Israel, but because of the danger that the Iranian state represented to the countries of the region, which was adopted by Khomeini’s Iran, based on expansionism, the planting of militia and terrorism.
Since then, Khomeinist Iranian policies have been an obsession among Arabs, especially the Gulf states, which consider that the link of the true Islamic religion, devoid of sectarianism, is the foundation on which the state was founded, and it is the secret of its survival.
Because of these policies in the region, which serve to destabilize security, create militias, and occupy territories to cultivate their influence, Ahwaz has become a factor of this conflict in the region, since 1925.
That is, since the Ka’bi state was subject to the influence of the Great Persian and Ottoman empires, and later to European influences, namely the British.
Since the founding of the Arab League in 1945, Ahwaz has not been far from the issues of the Arab nation, and the residents of Ahwaz have demanded that the league stand in support of their cause. The Ahwazi people have been more influenced by Arab political currents since the Fifties and sixties of the last century, so that many Arab issues were present in the conscience of the Ahwazi Arabs and their support for their brothers in the Arab countries.
This is evidenced by what has happened there since the tripartite aggression against Egypt in 1956, the Israeli aggression on Arab lands in 1967, the liberation war in 1973, the question of Palestine and others.
There is no doubt that the independence of the Ahwaz is a strong factor to counter Iranian influence, and this is what the executive headed by Dr. Arif Al-Kaabi demanded a lot, as Al-Kaabi called on the Arab peoples to support the aspirations of the Ahwazi people for freedom and deter violations of the Persian occupation.
In addition, Ahwaz is the basis of the Iranian Treasury, which the Iranian authorities rely on to finance their terrorist activities, and this has been confirmed by the leaders of the Revolutionary Guards several times.Ahwaz produces more than 85% of Iran’s oil, which the authorities smuggle in a clear challenge to the sanctions imposed on them.
