Arrest of Ahwazi Writer and Researcher Saeed Ismail

 

The Iranian occupation authorities have arrested Ahwazi writer and researcher Saeed Ismail Farah.
Iranian occupation intelligence forces raided Saeed Ismail’s home in the capital of Al-Ahwaz and took him to an unknown location.

During the search of the writer and researcher’s home, agents confiscated some of his personal digital devices, including his mobile phone and computer.

According to available information, Saeed Ismail’s arrest occurred while he was suffering from kidney disease, raising concerns among his family about his health condition and fate.

No information has yet been provided regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges against him.

Saeed Ismail, 32 years old, is an Ahwazi writer and researcher. He is married, holds a master’s degree in literature, and resides in the capital of Al-Ahwaz. He serves as the editor-in-chief of the Arabic section of the *Nawabit* Arab-Persian magazine and has conducted numerous studies on contemporary Arabic literature and culture.
