The Executive Committee of Ahwaz demand the United Nations to Protect the Ahwazi People from the Genocidal War Imposed by the Persian Occupation”

The Executive Committee of the occupied Arab state of Al-Ahwaz calls on the international community and the United Nations to take action to protect the Ahwazi Arab people in the occupied territories and prevent the occurrence of a genocide war pursued by the racist Iranian state. This has manifested in organized attacks on a number of schools across the provinces of Al-Ahwaz through the deployment of poisonous gases.

Preliminary reports indicate that dozens of students in Al-Ahwaz have been affected by toxic gas inhalation, leading to panic among the local population. Dr. Arif Al-Kaabi, the head of the Executive Committee of the occupied Arab state of Al-Ahwaz, stated that the unknown attacks targeting schools with gas are a genocide war against the Ahwazi Arab people in the occupied Ahwaz. Therefore, we call on the international community, especially the United Nations, to intervene and protect the children of the Ahwazi Arab people from the ongoing conflict in Tehran.

Al-Kaabi added that the ongoing power struggle between the ruling regime of the Mullahs in Tehran and the Persian opposition will inevitably result in the emergence of genocide in the present and future. He further stated that the unknown attacks with poisonous gas against the sons and daughters of our Ahwazi Arab people are a repetition of the attack on Rex Cinema in the city of Abadan in the occupied Arab state of Al-Ahwaz on August 19, 1978, which resulted in the martyrdom of about 470 of our people. Until now, the reasons and motives of those responsible for such a crime have not been revealed. It is worth mentioning that this crime occurred during the escalation of the Persian conflict led by Khomeini against the Shah’s regime.

Dr. Arif Al-Kaabi also clarified that the death sentences against six members of our people after extracting fabricated confessions and using the most brutal forms of torture should be considered as crimes against humanity and genocide, and the perpetrators must be held accountable.
