Iranian Occupation Forces Arrest an Ahwazi Retiree
Iranian occupation forces arrested Ardshir Ali Bakhshi, an activist in the Retirees Union representing teachers, after raiding his home in Ahwaz city. This comes amidst a wave of arrests targeting Ahwazi citizens on the centennial anniversary of the occupation of Ahwaz.
Iranian security agents stormed Ardshir Ali Bakhshi’s home, confiscating two mobile phones, a birth certificate, a national ID card, and his certificate. They also threatened his family against reporting the incident.
The “Teachers’ Union Challenge” Telegram channel reported that after announcing a gathering of 402 retired teachers on Monday, security forces threatened to arrest some of the active group administrators.
The Iranian occupation forces demanded that Zemin send a message to cancel the gathering and prevent teachers from assembling in front of the Ministry of Education. However, they failed to stop the planned gathering.
