Aref Al-Kaabi: Finland’s Move Against Iran Reflects Growing European Awareness of the Iranian Threat

Dr. Aref Al-Kaabi, President of the Executive Committee of the Arab State of Ahwaz, welcomed the announcement by the Finnish Security and Intelligence Service (SUPO) officially designating Iran as a state engaged in espionage activities against Finland. He described the move as a significant shift in Europe’s stance toward Iranian threats.

In a press statement, Al-Kaabi noted that Finland’s declaration that Iran has adopted “a more hostile approach” is a clear confirmation of repeated warnings issued by the Ahwaz Executive Committee about the increasing threat posed by Tehran to both regional and international peace and security.

He emphasized that the subversive activities carried out by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, which is listed as a terrorist organization, represent a direct threat to European security. Al-Kaabi pointed out that security agencies in several European countries have in recent years observed a rise in Iranian intelligence operations across Europe.

Al-Kaabi stressed the need for coordinated European action and a resolution from the European Parliament and the EU to confront Iran’s destructive schemes and its threats to Europe’s safety.

He concluded by urging the international community to deal seriously with the Iranian regime’s behavior, which continues to expand its hostile activities beyond its borders, exploiting its security and military arms to undermine global stability.
