Al-Kaabi Reviews Iranian Interventions and Their Negative Impact on Regional and International Security
Dr. Aref Al-Kaabi, President of the Executive Committee of the Arab State of Al-Ahwaz, reviewed Iranian interventions and their negative impact on regional and international security.
This came during his speech at the Executive Committee’s conference, organized in cooperation with the European International Organization for Development and Human Rights in Germany, the Arab-European Center for Human Rights in Brussels, and the Rafidain Center for Justice in Switzerland. The international conference was held on February 7 in Germany.
Al-Kaabi emphasized that Iran’s destabilization of the region is not limited to supporting armed groups but also extends to threatening global security, especially as Iran nears the production of a nuclear bomb. This makes it a danger not only to the Middle East but to the entire world.
In his remarks, Al-Kaabi pointed out that Iran’s policies, based on interference in other countries’ affairs, lead to escalating regional tensions and contribute to undermining legitimate governments in the region.
He also stressed that Iranian practices contradict international laws and conventions, which emphasize respecting the sovereignty of states and non-interference in their internal affairs.
The President of the Executive Committee of the Arab State of Al-Ahwaz called for serious and decisive steps to confront the increasing Iranian interventions. He urged the activation of international institutions and the imposition of strict sanctions to limit Iran’s influence in the region.
Additionally, he called for enhanced Arab and international cooperation to counter Iranian threats and thwart Iran’s continuous attempts to destabilize regional security.
Al-Kaabi highlighted the importance of supporting oppressed peoples, particularly the Ahwazi people, in their struggle against the repression and violations committed by Iranian authorities.
He affirmed that the Ahwazi cause is not merely an internal issue but a humanitarian cause that requires international attention and concrete actions to ensure the Ahwazis’ right to self-determination.
Al-Kaabi concluded his speech by stressing the need to unify regional and international efforts to confront Iranian interventions and activate political, economic, and diplomatic pressure mechanisms to curb Tehran’s threats and ensure the stability of the region and the world.
This was discussed at the international conference held by the Executive Committee of the Arab State of Al-Ahwaz in cooperation with the European International Organization for Development and Human Rights in Germany, the Arab-European Center for Human Rights in Brussels, and the Rafidain Center for Justice in Switzerland on February 7 in Germany.
The conference addressed key issues related to security and peace in the Middle East, focusing on Iranian interventions, their threats to regional stability, and their negative impact on development and regional peace.
The conference shed light on Iran’s role in destabilizing the region by supporting terrorist groups and engaging in military and political interventions, particularly in the Arab State of Al-Ahwaz, which continues to suffer from ongoing human rights violations by Iranian authorities. Participants also discussed Iranian crimes against the region’s peoples, particularly in Arab countries, with a focus on the crimes committed against the Ahwazi people.
The conference also examined the experiences of Arab countries in countering Iranian interventions and explored ways to address the Iranian threat to the region’s security and stability. Views and expertise were exchanged on the best strategies to confront the increasing Iranian threats, enhance Arab cooperation in combating terrorism, and support human rights.
The event saw the participation of prominent decision-makers, researchers, and academics from various Arab and international countries, as well as representatives of non-Persian ethnic groups within what is known as Iran. These representatives provided insights into the security challenges facing the region.
Among the attendees were the Secretary-General of the Baloch National Solidarity Party and his accompanying delegation, the President of the Azerbaijani-Turkish Center and his delegation, as well as Ms. Fariba Mohammadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Kurdish Komala Party, and her delegation.
This conference marks a significant step toward highlighting Iran’s ongoing violations in the region, strengthening international efforts to support oppressed peoples, and ensuring security and stability in the Middle East.
