The State of Ahwaz calls for international intervention against Iran after using its territory as a platform to attack Israel

The Executive Committee of the Arab Ahwaz State condemned Tehran’s reckless use of Ahwazi territories, particularly the cities of Quneitra and the capital, Ahwaz, as a platform for launching missiles toward Israel.
The ExecutiveCommittee of the Arab State of Ahwaz strongly condemns Tehran’s use of Ahwazi lands, especially Quneitra and the capital, Ahwaz, as a base for missile launches toward Israel. This act poses a direct threat to the lands, institutions, and infrastructure in Ahwaz, exposing them to potential military retaliation from Israel, which could lead to severe consequences.
The Executive Committee of the Arab State of Ahwaz stated that this military escalation represents a direct threat not only to regional security but also to the safety of the Ahwazi people, its institutions, and infrastructure, repeating the Iranian devastations seen in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.
The Executive Committee explained that Iran is exploiting Ahwazi territories to launch military attacks against external targets, putting Ahwazi infrastructure and vital facilities at risk of destruction.
It added that this use is a violation of international conventions, as Ahwazi lands are occupied by Tehran, which could lead to military responses from Israel targeting Ahwazi territories.
The ExecutiveCommittee of the Arab State of Ahwaz stressed that Iranian attacks could worsen the situation in Ahwaz, exposing the Ahwazi people to brutal practices similar to those witnessed in countries such as Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, and Gaza.
It stated that these Iranian adventures clearly reflect an intention to destroy Ahwaz and target the Arab Ahwazi people.
The Executive Council of the Arab State of Ahwaz called on the international community to take responsibility for protecting the Ahwazi people from the Iranian regime’s reckless actions, urging international intervention to stop the ongoing violations and ensure the security of Ahwaz and the protection of civilians from the repercussions of regional conflicts.
The Executive Committee further noted that, in light of these critical circumstances, continued international support for the Ahwazi people is essential to safeguard them from the Iranian regime’s aggressive policies. The international community must take immediate steps to halt these violations and achieve peace and security in the region.
