7 New Ahwazi Activists in the Grip of Iranian Occupation Intelligence
The security forces of the Iranian intelligence have arrested dozens of civil activists and citizens in Ahwaz.
Among the detainees is Amin Motouri, 38 years old, who was previously arrested in 2017 and sentenced to four years in prison and two years of exile in the northern city of Khorasan on charges related to anti-occupation propaganda.
The wave of arrests also targeted other citizens, including Hassan Ghani (34), Abbas Naami (37), Ahmad Sharifi (40), Sajjad Jaawaleh (Abu Kamal) (39), Mohammad Motouri (30), and Samir Khanfari (40). The raids took place in several areas within Mohammara, including Judeida, Al-Maslawiy, and Mahrazi.
