The Executive Council of the State of Ahwaz Welcomes EU Decision to Impose Sanctions on Iran
The Executive Council of the Arab State of Ahwaz has welcomed the European Union’s decision to impose additional sanctions on Iran. Dr. Aref Al-Kaabi, Chairman of the Executive Council of the State of Ahwaz, expressed his view that these sanctions serve as a tool to curb the actions of the terrorist state represented by the ruling regime in Tehran.
Al-Kaabi emphasized that these sanctions would positively impact Iran’s behavior, particularly by restricting the military arm of the regime, represented by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, as well as the so-called Iranian Ministry of Defense, known for threatening international and regional peace and security.
Al-Kaabi voiced his hope for increased sanctions on the terrorist Iranian state to help maintain security and peace in the region and the world at large. This step is considered part of international efforts to contain terrorist threats and to uphold regional stability and international cooperation.
