Al-Kaabi briefs U.S. presidential candidate Robert Kennedy and Zelensky’s Chief of Staff on the Ahwazi people’s cause
Dr. Aref Al-Kaabi, Head of the Executive Committee of the occupied Arab State of Al-Ahwaz, met with Robert Kennedy Jr., the independent candidate for the U.S. presidential election, Andriy Yermak, Chief of Staff to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and several members of the Ukrainian Parliament, in the resilient capital of Kyiv.
Meeting topic:
The meeting addressed the suffering of the Arab Ahwazi people under the oppression of the Iranian occupation and the “Persianization” policy pursued by the occupiers in the Arab State of Al-Ahwaz. The continuous efforts of the Ahwazi people to gain their right to self-determination and freedom were also discussed.
Al-Kaabi explained the rich history and culture of the Arab Ahwazi people, shedding light on the injustice and repression they face from the Iranian occupation, emphasizing the need to support the Ahwazi people’s right to self-determination.
Kennedy expressed a deep understanding of the Ahwazi cause and pledged to support it in his electoral platform.

The Head of the Executive Committee of the occupied Arab State of Al-Ahwaz elaborated on the heroic struggle of the Ahwazi people for freedom and independence, drawing parallels with the Ukrainian people’s struggle against the Russian occupation. He called for support of the just Ahwazi cause in international forums.
