A new study highlights the revolutions and resistance of the Ahwazi Arab people, against Persian occupation, as the Ahwazi people seek to re-establish their stolen state, occupied since 1925.

A study entitled “The Ahwazi People: A Barely Interrupted Revolution and Resistance” by the Washington-based Dialogue Institute for Research and Studies stated that what we are witnessing today in terms of demonstrations and uprisings by the Ahwazi Arab people is a true revolution, without doubt, the concept of revolution and resistance among the Ahwazi people has new meanings which allows us to recognise that these people are in a state of continuous revolution and uninterrupted resistance, so that resistance and revolution have become the two sides of Ahwazi society.

The study explained that there is a permanent revolution, where the Al-Ahwazi society resists by all means the policies of the regime’s displacement, as it faces poverty, arrests, and the policy of destroying the environment, and at the same time, it maintains its identity in all fields, refusing to submit and surrender to the repressive policies that wanted to undermine it and its existence, as it is constantly revolting and resisting all The racist politics of the Iranian regime.

The study continued that in other words, it can be said that the Ahwazi people are living the revolution now, yesterday and tomorrow, that is, in other words, the Ahwazi people have not been absent from the revolution, but rather they are the predecessors in the revolution and they are the ones who led it, and they are still feeding their ongoing revolution with the pens of writers, artists’ throats and poets’ systems.

The most prominent pillars of the Ahwazi revolution and resistance against the Persian occupation is the economic resistance. Numerous protests took place in Ahwaz over the past decades, almost the most compared to the protests against the Iranian regime in all of the so-called geography of Iran.

The Ahwazi Arab people expressed their rejection of all economic projects of the occupation, which threaten the environment and geography of Al-Ahwaz, and redraw Al-Ahwaz according to the interests of the Persian occupation, most notably the policy of establishing and expanding sugar cane companies, building dams, racism and discrimination in jobs. And attempts to change the cultural state of Ahwaz.

The study confirmed that the Al-Ahwazi Arab people are a rebellious people and resist all attempts of the Persian occupation to change the identity of Al-Ahwaz and the geography of Al-Ahwaz, and that the Al-Ahwazi nation is an impressive and admirable example of resistance and revolution for the sake of its homeland and its occupied state.
